Meet Summer
Summer McIntosh is a record-setting swimmer. She is the only Canadian swimmer with four world titles and was the youngest athlete to represent Canada at the Tokyo 2020 Games. She is the current World Record holder in the women’s 400m Individual Individual Medley and holds eleven Canadian Senior National records and seven World Junior Records.
Summer most recently won two gold medals at the 2023 World Aquatic Championships in Japan and is now focused on the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024.
Her mother Jill (née Horstead) was a Canadian competitive swimmer and represented Canada at the Los Angeles 1984 Olympic Games. Her older sister Brooke is a Canadian figure skater and competed in pairs at the Lausanne 2020 Youth Olympic Games.
