Meet Phil
As breaking makes its Olympic debut at Paris 2024, all eyes are on Philip Kim, known as Phil Wizard, who first experienced breaking on the streets of Vancouver in 2009 at the age of 11. He was mesmerized by the artistry and quickly started learning from local crews and YouTube videos.
Today, Phil is considered one of the best b-boys in the world. He has won multiple titles including the 2022 WDSF World Championships and the 2023 Pan American Games, the latter clinched his qualification for Paris 2024. Phil believes that through consistency and hard work, you can achieve anything.
Phil emphasizes the importance of fashion and style in breaking and in life. His signature looks is baggy neutrals with a pop of colour - mainly pink.
