Damian Warner

Meet Damian

Damian Warner is an Olympic record setter, after he became the fourth man to ever break the 9000 point mark in the decathlon at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. Damian’s decathlon journey started at the age of 17 when his high school basketball coaches encouraged him to compete in track and field. To this day, they remain his coaches as he continues to live and train in his hometown of London, Ontario.

A hamstring injury in the 400m decathlon event at the 2022 World Championships has fueled even greater determination to claim his first World Championship in Budapest this summer, win Gold again in Paris, and break the World Record point barrier.

While sport is his number one focus, Damian is also passionate about mental health and motivating youth to achieve anything they set their mind to.
